Well, it's true, I occasionally snag a diet Coke from one of my clients - even though I know aspartame was formerly listed as a biological warfare substance.

New Both the city and state are basically broke
to the tune of billions, so rather than stop handing out multi-million dollar contracts to study this or that to political cronies, they're looking for a tax that they can raise that will inflict the least amount of political pain.

I only drink black coffee without sugar, so I don't really care, but I was amazed to discover that there are coffee drinks that have 400+ calories a pop for a small (aka Tall/Primo/Stupido) one.
