New Any way to set wget to always continue?
There's a /etc/wgetrc file, but nothing in that about setting the '-c' flag. Is there a way to add this somehow?

New Re: Any way to set wget to always continue?
make an "alias"

in /etc/profile

alias wget 'wget -c'

OR:
If its got a /etc/profile.d/

add a file called wget-c.sh

in that file:

if [ -n "$BASH_VERSION" -o -n "$KSH_VERSION" -o -n "$ZSH_VERSION" ]; then

# for bash, pdksh and zsh
alias wget 'wget -c'
fi

That will take care of all "bash, ksh, zsh" shells any other won't get it.

New Will the alias apply when it's called by something else?
Specifically, I have wget set as the downloader for Firefox. When Firefox calls it, will it use the alias from my bashrc?

New Which ever alias...
is in force when you first login.

Remember changes to environment *REQUIRE* a re-log.

Since X does't particularly care about your .bashrc in your home dir... it only reads the global env.
New Guess I'll put it in the global then, thanks
