New A local translation for BMW - 'Boring Marin Wheels'

I could almost see voting for Palin in 2012 on the grounds that this sorry ratfucking excuse for a republic, this savage, smirking, predatory empire deserves her. Bring on the Rapture, motherfuckers!

New There is much worse.
Today I made the mistake of leaving the house during the Soccer Mom Hour. Gaaaaa! The world's worst, and most distracted, drivers suddenly jam the streets in great grid-locked hoards, all in a hurry and barely able to operate their giant SUVs.

I only saw one fender bender today, and no SUVs tried to mate, as they often do, but it was scary enough. I was back on the road 45 minutes later and the streets were almost deserted.

As for BMWs, the words in a visitors guide to Los Angeles still hold true, "Don't drive behind a Volvo or in front of a BMW".
New IMO, too many parents drive their sprogs to school.
There are two private schools in the suburb where I currently live. Both of them are not on the main through road yet both contribute significantly to main road cloggage in the morning peak. And it's an outer suburb of Sydney with more than 95% low-density housing. What happened with putting the kid on the local school bus?

(Fortunately, I now drive the other direction to the nearest train station and don't encounter it.)

Wade.

Q:Is it proper to eat cheeseburgers with your fingers?
A:No, the fingers should be eaten separately.
New Werd
I don't remember anyone getting driven to school every day. Granted, I may have not noticed, but when school let out there were great waves of kids on foot crossing every surrounding street.

If you lived too far to walk, you took the bus. And if I missed the bus, I walked fast. Well, on the way in. Coming home I'd walk unless it was raining, and take my time about it.

Today, all the schools have cars queued up for dismissal, and I'd guess a third of the grade school population is dropped off and picked up.

New sex ed on the bus around here
although I live right behind the school my wife picks up my daughter due to the vicious little twat who lives across the street. If she walks and they got into it my kid will kill the scrawny psycho and it will be lawyer time. Unfortunately my kid has 6 inches and 70 lbs on the other kid who is borderline microcelephic. The white kid wont get the blame around here.
