Ended up having a similar 8 way FC Switch hiccup... a 3 way redundant power supply was sucked low for a bit while one of the component power supplies went bad and browned out output for the whoel thing.. The switch config had to be completely rebuilt and re-loaded. Don't remember the rebranded equipment maker.
