New group perms
rwx rwx ___ 2 1313 1313 bits time foobar
the above is a directory owned by 1313 group 1313 with 770 perms. Now uid 1212 is a member of group 1313 but gets a permission denied while trying to cd into the directory foobar.
Any Ideas?
thanx,
bill
There is no difference between a "settler," "soldier," "secular," or "Chassidic Jew." The target is the JEW.

New That should work
My suggestion: look at the parent directory and its perms. Posting an /bin/ls -lr parent would be useful.

What part of "gestalt" don't you understand?
New parent RWX RWX R_X 1212 adm
1212 is the owner of the parent with adm being the group and world read and execute.
