Now hopefully, my new Call Sign will get into the ULS so I can take my General Class Exam on August 14, 2009 and then my Extra Class Exam on September 11, 2009. Two years ago, the dropped Advanced Class and also dropped the CW Requirement for General and Extra. You can still GET CW licensed, but its only for those frequencies that are restricted mode... for secondary non-commercial use and primary for Commercial use. There are a FEW VLF and LF stuff where on CW is allowed as well. http://www.ncvec.org/page.php?id=338 Full Question Pools are there. All Answers to all questions. Extra is the only one that is going to be somewhat tougher for me.

Post #312,275 by folkert 8/5/09 11:31:07 PM Reply	Probably going to build my own lower freq rigs. Mainly because I can. The 70cm, 1.25M, and 2M is all a bit busy for me. Might convert some older CB Radios to 6M and perhaps some old marine gear to 10M.
