It used to be the UK was the Little Satan as it was allied to the Great Satan but it didn't really have a lot of influence in the Middle East. Of course, this is the Supreme Leader being isolationist as normal. However he's attacking any dialogue with the British above any with the US or France? What could the British do that would make them so much more dangerous than the US or French?

New Until and during 1979 it was brits using mullahs
to conspire to their own benefit. They backed the original ayatolla tremendously. Without UK help the shah may have still been there.
