New Old habits... and sequential message reading...
Was thinking last night (yeah I know imagine the horror)

I remember having a nifty Javascript buttons to navigate the posts sequentially. I am thinking (*sniff*sniff* is that burning wood??) it might be a suggestion and a "personal" field to keep track of if you were to use the links in the left at the bottom of the info frame. or right by the "indents" stuff.

Dunno how much work it'd be. If ya want I could actually try and break everything and hack at it myself.;)

Anyone else think it'd be good too??

New Go for it
A template is a [link|http://www.perlmonks.org/index.pl?lastnode_id=26179&node_id=65224|similar script] that I sometimes use for PerlMonks. Change the URLs and filenames, and it should work just fine. :-)

New And the display url here...
... is quite intentionally designed such that your script WILL work. ;-)

For a while I had the forumID in there as well, but removed it.

New I noticed...
But the desire to skip over certain flamewars kept me from implementing.

Though it would be fun if there were killfiles, and "next" and "last" links that were smart enough to skip over killfiled people and forums. But the volume isn't really high enough that it is a burning need of mine.

Cheers,
Ben
