Impatience plus rtfm plus pebkac.

#1 - Gotta setup a mapping of input and outputs VS the video designators, ie: plugs VS how you use them in the menu systems.

#2 - Gotta setup speakers, turning them off and on for my stereo setup, rather than the 7.1 default.

#3 - Gotta have the AV menus show up on the TV to do ANY of the above. But it has to go through the HDMI sync, which takes about 10 seconds. Which is 5 seconds more than I ever gave it before, so I saw none of the menus.

All better.

Just saw the "5th Element". Again. I love this flick.

The last time sitting next to my daughter.
She LOVED the punch through the glass, and the moments of her face before the dive are incredible.

HD makes a huge difference, good sound multiplies it.
