Some time back in 90s/early noughties she was featured on a number of Capitol Records' "ultra-Lounge" CDs, so there's a whole generation of trying-to-be-hip youngsters who know and admire her work.

If that wasn't enough, she was even name-checked in an episode of Buffy the vampire slayer.

So I guess she hadn't faded into total obscurity, there are still a few of us in the know...
