And to some people, a 10 second delay is perfectly reasonable for this type of interaction. Just not us. Have you setup any multi-tabbed, multi-paned interfaces that slide up and down when selected?

Dunno about Windows, because I don't run it. I haven't had any Flash apps that were ridiculously slow, and in fact running something like a 3D Shockwave app was just fine too.
