New Who's used iSCSI?
With the price of a Sun x4500 compared to a Dell/EMC array,
the iSCSI alternative looks awful cheap.


Of course, cheap isn't good enough if it is slow or crashy.

Any experience?

New EMC bin file, usually a service contract preformed
on how the guts of the thing is arranged and presented

New iSCSI comes for free on all NetApp appliances.
You might also want to look at something called, GlusterFS.

Didn't say USE, but GLusterFS looks pretty damn promising.
