I've lost my MP3 player and started hitting the gym again. So I had to get another.
With the car costing big bucks, I couldn't swing a real ipod, so I went shopping for disposable crap at the $40 level.
I coulnd't bring myself to stood so low, so I ended up with an $80 2GB Sansa.
I like it. A lot. Sounds good, and the controls are OK. Not ipod wonderful, but OK. And when I'm working out, I pretty much let it shuffle anyway. But sometimes I do want to choose, so there is no way I was going to get an ipod shuffle.
Now that I think about it, every gram is important, and ipods are a bit chunky. Rationalizing? Maybe.
One nice touch is is takes MicroSD cards, so I can add another 4 or 8 GB without too much cost. My musical tastes are far more narrow than most, so I could really cover most of what I might listen to in the 10 GB max.
