gnuplot - the free, cross-platform, amazingly flexible 2D and 3D plotting package has been updated. The latest Windows binary now includes compiled-in support for jpeg, png and other bitmap graphics formats (via the [link|http://www.libgd.org/Main_Page|GD Library]) that previously wasn't included (but were available when compiling from source).

(Note that gnuplot has nothing to do with GNU - it was originally named "newplot" until it was found that something else already had that name.)
