Post #29,120 by mhuber 2/20/02 4:58:02 PM Reply	I'll beleive that when I see it Yeah, all 22 of them will agree because the crown prince asked nicely. Sure. Pretty safe move, really. Even if Sharon does call his bluff, one of the other 22 won't go along with it. Maybe Sharon didn't agree in a nice enough way for one of the 22, so it's his fault anyway. And if it did go through, would it be permanent, or would it be "oops - we also need an independant Palestinean state that just happens to fit inside those borders, we meant the 1935 borders" a week later? You know how we can tell if he's sincere? If the crown prince gets blown away in the next few weeks he was probably sincere. Yes, I am aware Israel didn't have borders in 1935. ---- "You don't have to be right - just use bolded upper case" - annon.

But, if Israel doesn't change it's ways, things will only get worse. While it's only the reality of things, this is a major ideological concession for the Saudis.
