Has anyone encountered (and subsequently resolved) the situation where one is trying to use the Yahoo Finance tools but is scuppered by the fact that the damn thing asks you for your password at every click of a "submit" button?

Not browser specific; behaviour manifests in IE7, FF2.0.0.6, and Opera 9.

This is my mother's BT Openworld account, too, although I saw the same thing when I signed into Yahoo! as me.

Final infobite: all this happened when connected via the aforementioned BT Openworld ADSL account.

New You are allowing Yahoo's cookies?
I use Yahoo Finance a lot and seldom get asked for the login password. They do consistently ask for the login when the IP address or machine you are using changes.
