Using a NIC that is just jammed into the PCI slot (came from a unique computer), with no support to keep it in place. What is a good, cheap PCI NIC? Any brands to avoid? A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. (Herm Albright)

As long as someone has indicated it works with your particular OS, I would assume all the cheap NICs are probably about the same. HTH a bit. Good luck. Cheers, Scott. I recall only one failure and no connection or driver problems at all. Used them under OS/2, DOS, Win95/98/XP/2000 and Linux. [link\|http://www.aaxnet.com\|AAx]
