Great pictures
I find it strange to see so many people dressed in jeans/pants on a sunny day almost in August.

Well, at least I see no pictures with . . .
. . columns of heavy black smoke. Over here at last week's show-off events they lost two P51 Mustangs, a biplane, and two pilots.

[link|http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?t=117100&page=2|http://www.militaryp...p?t=117100&page=2]
.. near bottom - the air shows and the choppers + a lot of stuff: "militaryphotos" ???
Why, you can also see results of a race in high-heels..
re copters: Imagine: cops chasing some speeder. {yawn} Oooohh. Excitement!
Oooh Murican-NEWS !!!
(Let's Both get to the exact right vantage point and Die. Now THERE'S NEWS) Good job for the ratings, guys -- posthumous raises and your pixs on Tee Vee.
PS - re odd synchronicities - Peter's Red Bull, the crashed biplane named Bulldog; a good few days to eschew taking any Red Eye flights, however cheap?
PPS - a little Good News: father+son land on freeway, enroute to airshow. Successfully. [link|http://storminthenews.blogspot.com/2007/07/cool-video-of-day.html|http://storminthenew...video-of-day.html]

Also, illustrative our our corrupt Criminal Justice Industry
I actually heard a couple of prosecutors seriously discussing how/if they could hold the suspect being chased liable for the four deaths! They want to *charge* him for those deaths. It's stunning. If we're going to assign blame for the deaths of those pilots and cameramen, then let's assign it where it's due:
1) The Cops. If they could tone down their testosterone injections just a tad, maybe a car theft wouldn't warrant an army of hillbillies with guns and badges racing all over virtually every town in Murica. 2) The Great Murican Peeple. For being stupid enough to actually want to watch automobiles being driven too fast and dangerously around residential neighborhoods. 3) Our own Gubinment. For creating a national sense of hysterical fear that makes the inane Murican peeple feel better by watching the jack booted thugs of the DHS, FBI and local police "goin' afta dem bad guys" on the teevee.

here in georgia a amn was convicted of homicide
because he was actively being searched for and was hiding in the woods. Some deputy gets into a headon with a truck 20 miles from where the guy was hiding. thanx, bill

deaths caused in the commission of a crime, I think
If a couple people stick up a store and the police fatally shoot one of them, the survivor can be charged with his murder. This would be a rather silly extension of that. The ghouls pretending to be newsies died for being careless and incompetent. I think most places, the death has to take place during the commission of a felony. I don't think that running from the cops is a felony yet, although I could easily be mistaken.

Nice pictures. Thanks.
Trying to decide if I want to fly out to San Diego in September to see them. Actually, money would be the only thing to stop me.
