New RHES 4.5 mount.cifs always failing
Well, really CentOS 4.5.

Tells me permission denied, which makes no sense, since using smbfs works.
Except, of course, smbfs does not allow >2GB files (I think, testing right now).
The same extact setup / options works fine from a Ubuntu client.

Any ideas?
New Has to do with the CIFS in the kernel.
Changes were made in the kernel support.

~ 2.6.11 or .12 there were some major pieces of CIFS that were updated.

I am betting that is what kills it.
