I mean, what he's saying is that all those folks dying in Iraq and Afghanistan will only be truly appreciated when they fail to forestall an attack in the US, despite the fact that they have absolutely zero influence over security in the US, on the other side of the world from where they're working....

There are varying levels of insanity going on in this country. You've just happen to trip on one of the more obvious one. There are others here that even think that the work being done over there has quelled any "real" plans for another attack or bombing or some such.

Um, it shows how ignorant "we" are about "them" over there. No amount of forcing the peace will vanquish the sentiments nor the feelings of the "Infidel Americans" attacking their lifestyle/religion/world/whatever.


But based on his statements, it is scary that he *IS IN* office.
