New Love. It. Especially the 'Freedom of Religion' bit :-\ufffd
The authorities say they can't do
anything about the vampires without
hard evidence and Colombia's freedom
of religion laws mean the police can't
stop and search people just because
they are dressed like vampires.
Migawd they ARE copying US!

Soon they will have people killed for The Right to Life and others slain for Opposing the Death Penalty and.. and..

The Whole World will be Just One Disneyland-USA Asylum !!!

Peace.. through Homogenization.. At Last!
New dont be parochial :)
Remember your history, the spanish Dons and their clerics enslaved those folks so when Simon Bolivar and others from Mexico to tierra del fuego rose up, they enshrined laws so no one could force theocracy down their throats again.

A stupid despot may constrain his slaves with iron chains; but a true politician binds them even more strongly by the chain of their own ideas;...despair and time eat away the bonds of iron and steel, but they are powerless against the habitual union of ideas, they can only tighten it still more; and on the soft fibres of the brain is founded the unshakable base of the soundest of Empires."

Jacques Servan, 1767
New The Vampires of Habana
While in Cuba I saw a cartoon (very adult cartoon with lots of sex and stuff) called The Vampires of Habana. It could have been made by the people who did Underdog or Rock n Bullwinkle, the comedy was so wicked and rapid fire.

There were three enclaves of vampires - the old world ones headquartered in Dusseldorf, the new world ones that looked like mobsters from Chicago, and this cast off scientist vampire who moved to Habana to research a serum that would allow vampires to go out in broad daylight. He perfected the serum on his nephew, a jazz trumpet player beach bum gigolo with a gang of small time hoods as who had no idea he was a vampire.

The film turned into a pretty funny hunt with the different factions falling all over themselves trying to get the serum.

Anyhow, vampires appear to be a popular theme in latin america.

What the hell are we thinking?
