of course, the email they sent me said MY computer was sending spam. There was no such evidence of this, they just want everyone to switch to another port.
AND, the issue re-occurred this morning after 12 hours of operating perfectly...and comcast security has no records of any blocks on my account.
Yet the netgear AND linksys router will not connect...actually they connect but I cannot access internet via a router..only direct to machine.
I don't have time to mess with it...meaning I get to spend a 4 day weekend thinking about having this to come back to.
Another problem...while it is good that I have the linksys router to fall back on, my VPN won't connect through it...so I've a feeling I will be at best buy on Tuesday buying yet another router...since there's no way I will get comcast to dispatch someone on this...since I can connect direct from a pc.
