Welcome to IWETHEY!

New What's the current status of NTFS & Linux?
I keep getting conflicting information on whether or not Linux can read and write to NTFS formatted partitions. Anybody got a definitive answer?
New It seems to work fine for me.
I haven't used it much though, so YMMV. Reading NTFS hasn't been a problem for me. I can't honestly recall if I've tried to write to NTFS.

HTH a bit.

Cheers,
Scott.
New ntfs-3g == Read and Write NTFS support.
And it work exceptionally well.

Ubuntu has it in Feisty

Debian has it in Sid

Can be easily compiled for any Kernel/Linux Distro as long as you have "FUSE" support proper.
