Welcome to IWETHEY!

New No A/C at work.
A/C was out all last week for repairs. (Each thing they fixed was followed by something else getting broke). Now they are waiting on a part to be shipped in and don't expect it till Friday. Four more days of dripping into my phone. High eighties/low nineties all last week and this one.

Every day is a 2 shower day. Sometimes 3.

New Ouch.
Condolences. We've had similar problems off and on; I find it nearly impossible to work if the A/C is off.

:-(

At the moment here it's: 83F, 73% humidity, 73F [link|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dew_point|dew point]:

Humans tend to react with discomfort to high dew points. Those accustomed to continental climates often begin to feel uncomfortable when the dew point reaches between 15 and 20 C (59 to 68 F). Most inhabitants of these areas will consider dew points above 21 C (70 F) to be oppressive.

Yeah, it's like that.

Expected high of 92 with 50% chance of thunderstorms tonight. We'll be swimming through the air soon.

Hang in there.

Cheers,
Scott.
New Same here, a couple of weeks ago.
Then I got my house's 30-year-old A/C unit replaced with a brand new York 15-SEER one. It's hyarge, but damn if it doesn't keep the house at the temperature I want it.

Sorry to hear about your trials. It's hard to work when all you can think about is how hot and uncomfortable you are.

New We had problems a bit like that a few months ago.
Basically, me and my 5 colleagues are in a corner of the floor that has been partitioned off without regard to how the air circulates. Coupled with a small 'server room' that was build without insulation and our corner got oppressively hot last summer. I think it got over 30C. We all dressed down (shorts and t-shirts) for a couple of weeks to help. We also kvetched and whinged to management so much that we were eventually told to just shut up about it because the company's done all it was going to do until we rebuild the floor (coming in the next two months!).

Even in winter, it's still very warm here.

Wade.

Is it enough to love
Is it enough to breathe
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed

Is it enough to die
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be Anything but Ordinary
Please

It would be good if people could help with the swift opening of bags that are wiggling and/or noisy.
