Welcome to IWETHEY!

New I LOVE this guy!
[link|http://www.sptimes.com/2007/05/09/Pasco/Armless_driver_eludes.shtml|http://www.sptimes.c...iver_eludes.shtml]

Guy with no arms and one leg eludes police on high-speed car chase. Again
New I'd put a bullet in his head.
Fucking asshole.
New For safety for the rest of us, I'm with you.
How do you suppose he lost his arms and leg to begin with?
Alex

When fascism comes to America, it'll be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross. -- Sinclair Lewis
New He "lost both arms and part of a leg in an accident...
...when he was 13, in 1980", according to the article's picture caption.

Which I'd read to mean that it wasn't, at least, *necessarily* through any fault of his own.

Why, do you know anything more specific?

New Re: do you know anything more specific?
No. Just seems to be a pattern.

New Let's be charitable and assume it was someone else, then.
Not that that's all that much better: Seems to confirm that what goes around, comes around -- with a vengeance. :-(

New Calls to mind a Robert Silverberg (?) story
about 'Vol-Amps' -- written long before the transistorized-iPod-implant revolution..
It was about folks voluntarily cutting off limbs - to install the (instantly removable) fancy super-limbs being hawked (by the same Corps as today - fancy such extrapolation!.)

Apparently the Full Monty Ampy? treatment was: all four.
(Said to enhance things for the bondage set; fully disconnected means you Never Can Say No - or something like that.)

Trouble here is - if he can drive a stick shift with most of 3/4s missing (those arm stubs must just be a tad tooo-long, it seems..) well -
So, if they lopped off the last leg - maybe his only option would be in a remake o' that Python sketch. Not a lengthy engagement, that.

'cept - maybe his teeth move like the Piano-teeth nickelodeon-sketch guy, too?

OK - bullet-in-head, it is.

('cept... if it's a sloppy shot and just lobotomizes - - he could. still. be. President! ..and clearly has the temperament.)
