Heart of Darkness
Submitted for your consideration: Freedom in Peril: Guarding the 2nd Amendment in the 21st Century. This gem of a work-in-progress from the National Rifle Association was maliciously leaked sometime over the past week, and domestic links to this 3.9 MB PDF have all mysteriously come a -cropper (apparently the NRA is threatening litigation—tort reform for thee but not for me), but fortunately there's a server in the UK that will make the deliciously creepy piece of agitprop available if you ask nicely:

Maybe a rather smart way to diseminate the material
If it had shown up in your email or post box would you have read it? At least they got the message thru, the gun control folks weill use a disaster to confiscate our weapons and gut the 2nd ammendment. With the usual caveate that these laws will not apply to them. A fair treatment of Hillary as well. Thanx for the link, maybe even more non gun owners might see it and go hmmmm.

I don't think so
I'm a fairly strong 2nd amendment supporter, and I find that piece so biased as to be offensive.
Insofar as the NRA is in trouble, it is because they are so fanatically set against any regulation that a lot of pro-gun people won't support them.

Much as I hate to jump in
to this kind of discussion, I feel I should point out that our very own (then) Republican-controlled government was merrily going door-to-door and forcibly confiscating guns.
Using Blackwater goons, at that.

4 MB of XXXXXXXs in lieu of text. Some graphics, a few names/titles with or near the graphics. No Open or Security P/W needed, per doc specs - so it isn't that...
NRA/OSS has an office in Big Ben?
(Would check with son of a friend, prolly in MI-6, but .. think I'd best save that perk for a bolt hole when.. Wenn Die S.S. Und Die S.A. Aufmarschiert replaces Murican Idle on the Hit Parade.)

So maybe it is only sending the 'XXXXXXXXXXXXX' version back when it detects Murican IP addresses? ;-)
Seriously, the Linux readers I tried (KPDF and Ghostscript) don't seem to have a problem with it.
