If I am a good boy, Heaven IT will be based on XbaOS. I think I'll bite the commercial bullet and look into the Print Distributor 30-day-trial. Post #282,952 by boxley 4/24/07 6:14:14 PM Reply	not really, its because I have done that before had old dos 3.1 equipment that sent reports to a line printer. I needed to turn those into snmp traps for an alarm system. So I "printed" them to NT which forwarded via lpr to a sun box. The sun printing subsystem is/was actually a shell script that formatted the print job so instead of sending it to a real printer I wrapped the message into an snmp trap and sent it to the alarm system.
