New Haven't heard her complain about eggs.
They have no veins, muscle fibers, bones, hemoglobin or other recognizable body parts - and she's confessed to liking cheesecake and other baked goods which have eggs in them.

She's not an "ethical vegetarian", just a squeamish one.

New As far as...
the recognizable body parts thing.

It depends on how far along the egg was before it was snatched. There are some cultures that have (or maybe still do) consider "crunchy eggs" a delicacy.

New They don't have those where I shop . . .
. . so I'm unlikely to include them in any recipe.

I suppose you could buy those high priced "fertile eggs" at the natural foods store and try incubate them yourself, but just how "crunchy" should they be?

New I dunno how crunchy.
But then, I don't get out.

Crunchy Eggs and Crunchy Chicks, from what I have read in some pseudo-history books only mention them. Never really how they were prepared or ingested.

Though, I guess they made it into some video games (recently "Fable") and other fiction... I guess maybe they are made up?

New Try the Phillipines
I'm pretty sure that's where they were when I saw that eaten on TV a couple of years back.

New Ahhh, yes.
On my first leave, after taking a MAC flight. I was told to not stop by any of the rolling restaurants as the food wasn't regulated. Now I know why. 2+2=42 and all that.

New I looooove cheesecake.
I'll eat eggs every once in a while. And I'm not squeamish. I'm discriminating.
New Discriminating as opposed to squeamish.
Some of the best tasting stuff looks the worst. Mussels, sweetbreads, tongue, brains, sauerkraut, squid, escargot, caviar, hummus, and on and on. Not eating chicken thighs because of "tubes and things"? Tubes are just another stop on the gustatory express.
