I didn't see game 4, I only heard it on Sirius Satellite radio.

But I noticed a lot of calls that were wrong or ignored in games 2 and 3, which I actually did get to see. I saw game 2 on local network, (shock), and game 3 we went to a friend's house and saw it on Versus.

I even saw a couple times where a Senator actually hauled off and punched Crosby in side of the face, and that was not called either. I thought that was a really bad call, and should have been a penalty or something.

I'm not sure what to think about tomorrow's matchup. I know they CAN beat Ottawa, but whether they will is another thing. Still I think they've made an excellent showing in the playoffs so far, compared to where they came from in the regular season!

My Ducks may take their round tomorrow night, I'm still not sure why they lost last night's game, but ah well. Maybe they can take it all in Anaheim tomorrow and advance to the next round.

Meanwhile, my Sharks won again tonight, if they can do it again one more time on Friday, they can also advance to the next round.

It's kinda nice to have all three of my favorite teams in the playoffs, even if they all don't manage to make it out of the first round. At least I finally get to see some hockey I care about!

I thought anything that looked like a deliberate punch to aim and hurt was not allowed. Did that change in the new rules, or are you saying it still isn't really allowed to hit the player with a closed fist, but because two other players fought over it that's why it was left uncalled?

I seem to remember something in the hockey rules that a closed fist used to hit another player was a no no.

Would it have been a different scenario if the punch had truly injured Crosby? Maybe that was the difference?

I'm still trying to grasp the new hockey rules, and I barely had a grasp of the old ones! ;)
