To be completely accurate
After a lot of drinking, I turn deathly pale before turning green. You should know that!

Speaking of frogs
We have a river system here in SE Michigan called The Rouge. Every spring, to determine the healthy and viability of the ecosystem, we listen for frogs. The more frogs, the better. We record the different species we hear. The study is about to kick off. There is a branch of The Rouge at the end of my street so I can sit in my yard and do this. Not a bad way to spend the evening...sitting outside listening to the spring peepers peep.

Except when it is 35F, there won't be many...
If any croakers, making wise-crackers.
The nice thing though, your hot-flashes will make it so you don't have to worry about being cold.

John Singer Sargent is a favorite of mine.
He did [link|http://jssgallery.org/Paintings/Madame_X.htm|Madame X], CLLR, and [link|http://jssgallery.org/Paintings/Gassed/Gassed.htm|Gassed], among others.
I don't recall which one, but he did one huge portrait of someone that was dominated by bold, expressionistic brush-stroke flourishes but the hands were so detailed and perfect that it looked like they were real. He was a true master.
Cheers, Scott. (Who thinks CLLR is magical.)

Sweet
That painting reminds me of sitting in the garden with the kids at night watching the fireflies. When the kids were small they thought the fireflies were fairies. Then they grew up and realized they were just bugs. I, however, still pretend they are fairies. And yes, it is magical.
