I remember watching that stuff on Ted Turner's little channel before he discovered cable TV. Even when I was quite young I couldn't understand why the referees didn't do anything to enforce the rules. I slowly realized that "professional wrestling" wasn't a sport. But it was interesting to see the crowd get so agitated about it...
