You hadn't posted anything here for about 3.5 months, then you posted [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/content/show?contentid=279882|this]. It seemed like the same old same old. More rehashing of your old troubles, some of which we've tried to help you with in the past. Why didn't you just say "Thank you" and leave it at that? Greg's post wasn't about you.
Everyone has problems. You've had your share. We know that, because you never let us forget it. Many of the best contributors here have told us almost nothing about their personal lives. Think about it. (Yes, I need to take that to heart as well.)
It gets tiresome to go through these cycles with you, Norm. You know what you need to do with your life. You know what you need to do to not annoy people around here. But just for completeness, you'll get a lot fewer "attacks" if you do the following:
1) Stop telling so much about your personal life unless you are asked.
2) Think about the thread. If you decide to reply: Give your opinion, say why, and move on.
3) Stay on topic.
4) Don't rehash, yet again, things that have been beaten to death around here and have never ended well.
Even in threads where you could have offered some valuable insight, like the help desk thread, your [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/content/show?contentid=280492|post] just became another stream-of-consciousness Poor me. Since you spent at most less than 10 minutes on it before you moved on to your next comment, it's clear that you didn't really want to make a useful contribution - you just wanted to clutter up the thread.
Those are the main reasons why you often get the reactions here that you do. Please consider them before going on another posting spree.
My $0.02. Take it or leave it. No reply is necessary or expected.
