New That it does.
The second one had the advantage that we knew most of the characters, thus giving lots more room for the story, which is normally what happens in sequels. I thought they did it well, mostly because the writers figured out during the first film that what makes Jack Sparrow so good to watch is when he is never quite in control of a situation.
