Probably not newsworthy for the rest of the world, but it's been causing quite a bit of happy around Sydney. Sydney Harbour Bridge, aka The Coathanger, was opened some 75 years ago - and she's still looking quite lovely for her age.
There's a little [link|http://www.smh.com.au/multimedia/2007/national/harbour-bridge-75/index.html| slideshow with sound] put together by the [link|http://www.smh.com.au|Sydney Morning Herald] that has some photos of the bridge being built, and shots of it from the last 75 years, accompanied by a suitably, um, quaint 1932 song written to celebrate said bridge's opening. Enjoy!
