New Computers Suck At Printing
All of them. Even Apple has dropped the ball on this.

Printer configuration is a black art on all platforms. Error reporting is shiite to non-existent. USB/Network all suck.

After 45 minutes on the phone to my mom, I can't get her stupid new printer to print actual pages. I have the same experience with my current printer - a xerox color laser. If it is initialized properly and everything is synced up it works tolerably well. But woe to you if you try to cancel a job - it goes into never land requiring multiple power cycles to get it back on the job. And fer crissakes don't let it run out of paper!

The state of printing on PC's is deplorable and I'm fucking fed up.

New Maybe you should try getting a printer then
I mean, I can't even find the paper tray on my computer to load it.

By which I mean, I completely agree with everything you said, but couldn't resist making the crack I thought when I saw the subject line.

Kip Hawley is still an idiot.

It would seem, therefore, that the three human impulses embodied in religion are fear, conceit, and hatred. The purpose of religion, one might say, is to give an air of respectibility to these passions. -- Bertrand Russell

They both savoured the strange warm glow of being much more ignorant than ordinary people, who were only ignorant of ordinary things.
