New That's adjustable
They've got a widescreen LCD in the break room at work. First day I showed up they had it set to scale everything to fullscreen. I set it to show everything at native ratio. Next day someone had set it back, so I fixed it again. Did this every couple of days for about two weeks. Whoever kept screwing it up got tired of breaking it before I got tired of fixing it. Win.

New Still a common problem.
An appreciable fraction of people want 'the picture to fill the screen' not understanding - often not wanting to understand - that it's not really possible.
