Perhaps upon changing hands what is happening is reassessment of value. That's not estate taxes.
Most supporters agree there ought to be a floor below which there are no estate taxes. $5Mil gets tossed around a lot. I support that.
This, OTOH, is not a good argument for wholesale repeal of the estate tax and nothing I see anywhere, including box's pointer to county assessors database, convinces me otherwise.
Get me a death notice, explain how related to interviewee (not at all mentioned), who really owned it?
