Just ask Tricky Dick er ah Richard Nixon, that is if he was alive today. :) But then we have presidents like Ronald Regan who claim they know everything that is going on, until a scandal happens like the Iran-Contra thing, then they claim they didn't know what was going on and never gave their people any orders to do that stuff.
