New interesting letter from the elementary school
A week or two ago my 8yo daughter comes in with a soccer signup sheet. No prices of course. I lookup the organization, its 8 weeks $100.00 plus $50 for a uniform. Then I have to buy cleats $30 shin pads $20. Total around $190 to kick a fucking ball around. So I told her, you wanna play soccer? That will have to be your only christmas present.

2 days later I get a letter from the school.

One of our kind staff has intimated that your family might need help this christmass, local charitable organizations have asked for names of people that might not be able to afford presents for their children, please fill out bla bla bla

New Ouch.
I'd be writing a letter back pointing out how certain unlisted expenses has led to this less than welcome piece of data-matching...

Wade.
"Don't give up!"
New data-matching? I think not
Sounds to me like the little darling did a bit of whinging around impressionable ears.

Give a man a fish, and chances are you won't be asked to be in charge of buying a gift ‘from all of us’ anymore.
