New Any word on ballot initiatives?
Particularly for Washington? Oddly enough, the Seattle Times has a state-by-state breakdownd of initiatives and which way they went, but doesn't include any for Washington. Are they so close that they can't call 'em yet?

New Re: Any word on ballot initiatives?
[link|http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/election2006/|This] has what you're looking for, methinks. For Washington state, we voted down 920 and 933 by decisive margins, pretty much ending the hopes of anybody who wanted to turn farmland into high-value McMansions and condos, or at least pretend to and then get paid by the state not to. We also kept the inheritance tax.

Initiative 91 went through, meaning that Seattle won't be getting any more sports stadiums. Now if only that had been a statewide initiative...

The transportation initiatives seem to be winning.

The anti-strip club measure is going down in flames by a 2:1 margin.

Edit: and as much as I despise Seattle television as a bunch of muckraking bloodthirsty vultures (as personally experienced recently) King 5 does have [link|http://www.king5.com/election/results.html?hotraces|this] page that appears to have a simple list of all the local stuff.

Descriptions of the measures nationwide. Interestingly, they Don't list Washington state...and I don't know why (unless such things as Private property aren't "sexy" enough for the mainstream press...)

Their loathing for him is palpable. It can be palped without effort.
