I am tickled pink about this, though, it is a long read. PJ does a nice summary, which is still long.

Someone said, long ago in the Epic, that IBM Legal (or the "Nazgul" as some have termed it) would drop tons of bricks. They(IBM) dropped a "Redacted Memorandum in Support of its Motion for Summary Judgment on SCO's Contract Claims". 597 Exhibits, plus the Memorandum. Huge. Just as SCO is having to hand out more to the escrow account for expenses not covered by its legal fees cap.

SCO is coming under fire from Novell for its "95% of the royalties" it was supposed to get from the "Sun and Microsoft SCOSource division" deals. Which SCO claims were NOT SCOSource Licenses, but Source Licenses of some other type, therefore exempt from the royalties.

Well, 2007 is fast approaching. I expect a trial, if it ever gets there, to be late 2007. Unless Novell somehow gets its money, thereby reducing SCOg to a void. Which would be sad as them Linux (IBM) would never have really been vindicated.
