Although implimentations can stink, relational is wonderful. Why would you want to replace it with a Pointer-Hell-Dismanagment-System, similar to the crap that motivated Dr. Codd to create relational in the first place?

New You have it backwards - I agree with you on this
I'm moving from an OODBMS to PostgreSQL - OO to relational. OODBMS's have issues with large (acutally even small) numbers of concurrent users.
