I recall seeing coverflow as a tech demo at some tradeshow (macworld?) and wrote it off as booth candy. So imagine my surprise to learn that Apple had bought it and put it into iTunes v7. I thought "what a gimmick - I'll never use that".
But after a few days I've begun using it as my primary interface to my music. Why? Because it accurately reproduces the feeling of having all your LP's in a milk crate and thumbing through them looking for something that strikes your fancy. The album art becomes imporatant again as you can spot goodies faster than reading text.
Its all so wonderfully retro. I'm diggin' it. Rock on.
