is a totally appropriate description for many of the discussion boards. I've stopped going to the board of my former employer because it was nothing more than people parroting the company PR spin and gloating over the dismal outlook for other PC manufacturers. I gave up trying to get the shills and cheerleaders to look at both sides of the coin when you think of a company. Don't just look at it's current financials, but look at its future, how it sits with the competition in its niche market, how it treats its employees, and towns where it has offices and facilities, etc. Their minds were like steel traps welded shut - no matter what you say or what links you post, they only want to have fellow sheep to pat them on the back and say "atta boy, good shill!" Most wouldn't admit the truth if it hit them like a Mack truck.
