Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Aggg . . . I've nearly exhausted . . .
. . the Philippine fish market! There's just about nothing in their inventory I haven't already bought, analyzed, written up and eaten.

Not to worry, I've already spotted an even bigger one a few blocks closer that has fish this one doesn't have. I'm nearing 80 fish now and should make it to 100 in fairly short order - then maybe I'll go on to something else. Haven't found any eels yet though.

So why do we have so many Philippine fish markets around here?

Because Philippinos eat a lot of fish.

And that matters because - the entire Southern California health care system along with elder care facilities and convalescent homes all run almost entirely on Philippinos. Healthcare is one big industry here - and that means lots and lots of Philippinos - and that means lots and lots of fish.

New Synergy
Eating all that fish (well, let's just elide Mercury and the rest) should render them healthier than the dead-cowphage legions they are ministering to - so it all works out.

New My experience is that it's
often Philipina nurses that run the health care. IOW, many of the Philipinas I know are nurses, and seem very good at it.

But when I go in for medical treatment, it's a mixed bag - dentist is Philippino, doctors are Chinese or Irish, or Armenean.

New Nearly all the medical testing labs I deal with . . .
. . are Philippino owned and operated, except on that's owned by folks from India. There was one Armenian one but they sold out.

I've often joked that it must be illegal for regular white folks to own a medical testing lab.
