New Should energy markets be regulated?
Other threads and past wars about energy, regulation and Kalifornia spoke around regs but not of regulation. Is electricity to business and homes, gas and heating oil to outlets a national vital interest to be regulated by the government or are they commodities the same as wheat tobbacco and diapers, to be self regulated by the marketplace with all the inherent manipulation of supply and demand by controlling interests for maximum profit.
Me thinks regulated.
thanx,
bill
My Dreams aren't as empty as my conscience seems to be
New Regulated gets my vote
Energy/power is not a luxury in our society. Hasn't been for a long time. It's a vital national need that should not be left to the tender mercies of our oh-so-caring business world..

As for your examples-- :-)
