your company gets a letter, you will pay 10$ more a month for your emploees or else. You have 10k employees. Someone now has a full time job and employees finding a way to bypass that charge. Remember the three layers of network connectivity, dirt, wire, packets and you can eliminate the dirt part by air now. Broadband providers do recognise that alternate methods are available becoming more available that bypass their last mile. The intermediate providers are in competition with government, that is a good way to lose your ass. The article was either written on a laz sunday with a deadline rapidly approaching or as usual a router geek that doesnt really understand how shit works.
