New Three steps as well
I rip using Handbrake, shrink to iPod size using QuickTime, then fix the tags using [link|http://home.comcast.net/~lowellstewart/lostify/|Lostify].

I'll have to try Instant Handbrake - when I first used HandBrake I'd get videos that iTunes would not send to the iPod so I added the QuickTime step.

Movies:
- TRON

Videos, from DVD:
- Aqua
- Blue Man Group
- Depeche Mode
- DEVO
- Scissor Sisters

Videos, from iTunes store:
- Gorillaz
- Depeche Mode

also have a number of music videos from when they were free on iTunes.

TV Shows:
- Aeon Flux (animated)
- Drawn Together, Season 1
- Futurama, Season 1
- Nothern Exposure, Season 1
- The Young Ones, Every Stoopid Episode

Also have the original pilot for Tripping the Rift. I'd like to pick up the DVD.

I use my iPod to watch shows during my lunch break. Think I'll start ripping my Twilight Zone collection next, I've got all 5 seasons on DVD and am slightly less than half way thru watching them.

Not sure if Instant Handbrake is a Universal binary yet, but it's really nice with all the settings you need for iPod ripping.

There's also a nifty tool called [link|http://www.isquint.org/|iSquint] that let's you convert all
sorts of video formats (including FLV) to iPod video format. It's faster than Quicktime, too.

I hadn't heard of Lostify, but I'll check it out.

I watch my videos while I'm working on my laptop (gives my right brain something to do while the left one gets on with business) or when I'm in a waiting room. (I've got a lot of short videos, music and otherwise, for those spare moments.)

There are also some nice short films on ITMS. I find myself watching less and less real-time TV these days.

Looks like Instant Handbrake is universal, I'll try it with my next conversions.

iSquint looks handy - I'll have to try that when I need to convert something other than a DVD.

Looks like Lostify is just a GUI to AtomicParsley. My favorite feature is the "field locking" - by locking show, season and so on I don't have to keep retyping those values for each episode.

New Field locking

PAD (Parsley is Atomically Delicious) appears to be another GUI for Atomic Parsley. It also does field locking and looks like you can do batch processing and add artwork as well.

Oh, well, horses for courses... (I think that's the right phrase.)

I don't think Lostify does artwork. I tend to change that using iTunes.

New Artwork
Frankly, that's the way I do it, too. I haven't quite figured out how to get PAD to do it, to my shame.

After all, I only found out about this atomic tag stuff about a week ago.
