It's not "A Mighty Wind" if that's what you're thinking. :-)

We saw them tonight at the Nissan Pavilion. It was a good show. 2.75 hours. It started about 45 minutes late, but we didn't mind too much.

It was my first time seeing him, but I'd heard stories about his 4 hour shows at the Uptown Theater in Chicago when I was there in the early '80s. My wife saw him at Cornell in 1978.

We enjoyed it very much. There were the usual issues at a big show (the drunk guy on the left who fell over and took about a minute to get up; the noisy guy on the right who had a deafening whistle that he insisted on performing several times at the end of each song; the $8 beer and the $3 bottle of water; the $12.30 per ticket service charge; etc.), but we knew to expect all that.

Bruce is still an excellent performer, and he's got a very good band with him. He didn't play [link|http://www.bobdylan.com/songs/froggie.html|"Froggie Went a Courtin'"] though. The Misses was very disappointed. :-(

Cheers,
Scott.
