New No. There's no advantage.
If your machine is happy with 2k you are not going to get any added benefit from Vista. It's a horrible pain in the ass to use, they have a new driver model which most IHVs have not yet supported so things work worse rather than better, so far, it's a horrible user experience, and have I mentioned that it is a serious pain in the ass? It's fucked up as a football bat. Don't go there.
